Details
Mavic's Crossride wheels have been a favorite choice among cross country mountain bikers for years. This is due in no small part to their reputation for durability, reliability, and light weight. To achieve this, Mavic laced up the Crossride with 24 stainless-steel bladed spokes, front and rear, and have been constantly improving hub designs to be stronger and lighter in weight. Their QRM bearing standard keeps you rolling smoothly mile after mile with little or no maintenance, and they come with adapters for different axle standards, making your Crossrides versatile for multiple applications. And, these wheels come matched up with Mavic's own Quest tires with durable ARC rubber compound and Guard casing that team up to make for tough, long-lasting, tubeless-ready tires designed to tackle tough terrain worry-free.

ARC
All Round Compound:
ARC is a medium tire rubber compound (60a) that makes a versatile and very durable tire.

Guard
Strong & safe:
The tire casing is reinforced with an extra layer that helps reduce flats.

UST
Universal Standard for Tubeless:
UST delivers a ready-to-ride tubeless system. The UST concept improves traction, control, and comfort while reducing rotating mass and flats.

UST Tubeless-Ready
Traction, control and lightweight:
The UST concept improves traction, control, and comfort while reducing rotating mass and flats. The tubeless-ready construction results in a lighter tire for improved performance.

TS-2
Transfer System 2:
Using two pawls engaging simultaneously, this freewheel system is also fitted with an alloy monobloc axle that is both lightweight and stiff and offers compatibility with multiple axle types.

QRM
Qualité de Roulements Mavic:
Mavic uses only high-quality sealed cartridge bearings. On QRM wheels, these bearings feature double seals (2RS or LLU) along with tight, C3 internal clearances.

H2
Hammer Hardening:
H2 involves the local strengthening of the rim in the area where the spokes exert the greatest stress. This helps ensure rim longevity and resistance to stress fractures at the spoke holes, a common failure point in aluminum rims.
